50th Anniversary Bur Oak Tree

50.00

A collection of 50th anniversary oaks were raised from 50 acorns collected in John Muir country in Marquette County, Wisconsin. Bur oaks are the only oak species found in the prairies of Goose Pond Sanctuary. Plant one of these beautiful, long-lasting bur oak trees this fall in a place where your grandchildren and their grandchildren will enjoy it - your yard, a beloved natural area, a neighborhood community center yard, etc. They can be a great birthday or anniversary gift for someone who will benefit from their beauty and shade for decades to come. Each of these three-year saplings is $50 and sale proceeds go to Madison Audubon’s Goose Pond Sanctuary.

Tree pick up will be available this fall. Please do not select shipping for this item when checking out.

Acorns were specially propagated by Goose Pond friends and volunteers Janet Flynn and Greg Tiedt.
