Together with our members, we celebrate, enjoy, and protect Wisconsin's birds and natural heritage.

We're a welcoming group of passionate individuals: bird watchers, wildlife enthusiasts, naturalists, and educators. We come from all walks of life, and welcome individuals of every sexual orientation and identity, race, ability, religion, and economic status. And together, we protect vital wildlife habitat and share the joy of Wisconsin's natural world with thousands of people.

Welcome to the Southern Wisconsin Bird Alliance (formerly Madison Audubon)! We are the local Audubon chapter for folks living in Adams, Columbia, Dane, Dodge, Green Lake, Iowa, Jefferson, Marquette, Richland, and Sauk counties.

Now more than ever, Wisconsin's lands need your help. By restoring and preserving a mosaic of landscapes at our three sanctuaries—and empowering others to do the same—SoWBA and its members are working to keep local habitats healthy for birds and other wildlife.
